Safety is never an option at Farmer’s Best. We were employing food safety best practices before they became standard in the industry, and have only improved them over the years.
Our Food Safety Programs are based on standard HACCP’s principles following Standard Operating Procedures and Good Agricultural and Manufacturing Practices. We also have third-party auditors regularly inspect our operations both in the fields and packing sheds.
We are also proud of our latest trace-back technology where customers know when the shipments were received, including the origin, date and all the details about how the product was grown, packaged and shipped. For additional security, Farmer’s Best has also reinforced its antiterrorism efforts by participating in an industry border-crossing program certified by the United States Customs Department.
At Farmer’s Best we also share everyone’s great concern today for our environment. Good stewardship of the land using sustainable production is imperative to our long-lasting success.
Our sustainability initiative begins with a trained staff that follows a designed program that includes:
